soft boiled eggs for breakfast.
12.20 pm – Treated granny to Peng Yang’s
of Lorong Hijau 5 for lunch.

08.10 pm – Went to Gurney Drive’s Corner Club for her 80th brithday dinner. I remember when I was small, like 5 years old, my grandfather (her husband) used to bring me here after picking me up from kindy, for lunch. We’d usually have the private room to ourselves. I’d always arrange 3 chairs in a line and take a nap while he socializes with the waitresses. 😈
We had paus,
genuine shark’s fin soup (a lot of hotels are discouraging it nowadays),
2 types pork,
2 types chicken,
fish maw with broccoli and mushrooms and
longan with sea coconut for the 8 course meal.
10.20 pm – Hopped on over to my aunt’s house to check out the super awesome RM400 nyonya basket cake (contact me for your custom cake needs) and to also
play with Hugo the dog.
