apples for breakfast.

09.13 am – Pumped in RM50 worth of RON95.

09.56 am – Took out a can of WD-40 and started

spraying all the door joints of

PCJ.

12.59 pm – Met up with the editor of AllStaff’s FunNstuff for a short discussion before the review and interview at Mizi Bistro today.

MyLunch promotion at OldTown.

The back part.

Had myself a pan mee set.

04.05 pm – Arrived at New World Park.

The outdoor seats.

The entrance.

The new menu.

The most value for money RM21.50 set meal in the entire Penang Island (some say Butterworth).

The best out of this is the “Our Signature” mushroom soup. It’s the no.1 mushroom soup in the world.

For me, any of the main course rocks.

You will pick a delicious one even with your eyes closed.

The fish and poultry sections are the ones with the most choices.

The meat and

chef specialties section are more expensive but worth every single cent.

Sat myself at the far corner.

Decorations.

Sat by myself for more than 45 minutes, waiting. 🙄

04.52 pm – Ordered a baked french onion soup and

a mushroom soup. Winner = mushroom soup.

Zurene ordered lemon tea while

I had green tea. Winner = green tea (can refill ma) 😈

Complimentary bread and

butter with every set meal.

Everybody, say hello to Zurene Cheah of FunNstaff!

The fillet of fish almondine was delicious. Really.

However, the clear winner between the two was the seafood kebab. Rich in texture and filled with lots and lots of

fish meat,

squid,

raisins + capsicums,

broccoli and

prawns. Damn, it’s good!

06.40 pm – Headed over to the ice cream corner.

The ice cream freezer that

houses 6 different flavours.

Winner = yam ice cream topped with chocolate rice.

09.00 pm – Finished intervierwing (sebenarnya it was more of chit chatting) Tarmizi after 2 hours.

09.00 am – Heated up a slice.

Had soft boiled eggs and

buttered ba gua toasts for breakfast. ~yum

10.00 am – As Windows was kinda giving me problems every now and then, I thought of trying Linux. Spent the whole day installing and tweaking my computer to install and tweak Ubuntu’s Intrepid Ibex.

Honestly, I loved it. Almsot all the drivers to all the hardware to my computer was provided and bittorrent downloads were unthrottled. However, the only thing that didn’t really work well was my sound card. No matter how long I spent tweaking and trying all the different types of audio players, it just didn’t sound as nice as when I was using Windows.

01.00 pm – Took a 1 hour break before continuing.

07.30 pm – Picked up the birthday girl and

went to her favourite restaurant for her birthday dinner.

Had the most delicious mushroom soup in the world so far,

seafood a-la-king and

yam ice cream for dinner.

08.30 pm – Pumped in RM50 worth of Mobil.

09.30 pm – The shades for Vinny’s birthday tomorrow is already up.

01.30 pm – Went over to Mizi Bistro’s flagship store located in Prangin Mall.

The best mushroom soup in the whole wide world still tastes the same. ~yum
