How To Make Cornflake Cookies On A Sunday

10.30 am – Had a cup of milo,

soft boiled eggs and

a vegetarian murtabak

for breakfast.

11.00 am – “Project Cornflake Cookies”

A big ass empty bowl,

227g of butter,

a raw egg,

an egg beater,

135g of sugar,

283g of rising flour and, last but not least,

80g of cornflakes.

First, I poured the sugar in.

Second, the butter.

Beat it

till it looked mixed up. Took about 10 minutes.

Put in the raw egg and

the rising flour.

Beat it for the second time, till it looked mixed up. Took about 10 minutes.

Threw the egg beater aside. Continued beating it manually to release stress.

Poured in the cornflakes

and released more stress for about 5 minutes.

The dough should look pretty mixed up by now.

If there’s extra cornflakes, you could break it up (or not).

Pinched a sizable portion of the dough (I didn’t realize until I started baking that rising flour expands) and

rolled it around the extra cornflakes.

Filled it up.

Pushed the tray into the 160°C preheated oven and baked for 35 minutes.

~mmmMMmmmmm~

You just gotta try it man. Class A cornflake cookies. Woo hoo!

05.30 pm – Bought the tickets to Yes Man.

06.00 pm – Went over to the fabulously

sceneric

Jerejak Jetty Cafe for dinner.

This pencuri cutie had

padprik ayam

while I decided to try a glass of epal asam boi and

a plate of maggi goreng.

07.00 pm – Yes man was good! Jim Carrey was his usual self and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. =)

09.00 pm – Sadly, there’s no 20% sushi discount on Sundays. Only weekdays. 🙁

09.30 am – Had oats with milk and

2 soft boiled eggs for breakfast.

12.00 pm – Went over to the great Peng Yang Chicken Rice for lunch.

Shared a big plate of white chopped chicken, roasted chicken and

a big bowl of kiam chai boay with

this fella.

01.30 pm – Was shocked when I went over to Komtar. The toilet looked different!

Check out the sink!

Check out the men’s urinal!

It looked so much cleaner and brighter. I wonder if the change was caused by Penang’s new Pakatan Rakyat government under Lim Guan Eng.

After that, we went to Exotic Tattoo to

listen to Max on what he can do to save John’s retarded looking + crooked left leg tattoo.

02.00 pm – Lucky for John, Max’s clients were unavailable to come for their appointments, so Max was free to touch up John’s totem pole.

Step 1 : Shave off the surrounding hair.

Step 2 : Apply vaseline.

Step 3 : Take a deep breath and

Step 4 : GO!

“I think I am at my limit”

“Seriously. Painful man!”

“Kill me instead. Please.”

04.00 pm – You see. One of the major reasons why I recommend Komtar’s Exotic Tattoo to everyone is because of hygiene.

They wrap their tattoo markers.

They wrap the ink bottle.

They wrap the antiseptic spray.

They wrap even the lamp.

Each wrapper is changed after every customer. See. So hygiene.

They even wrap their sandwiches.

Just kidding. The sandwiches were bought from a Sunflower Bakery, right where all the jewelry shops in Komtar are situated.

06.00 pm – Changed the grip of the old badminton racquet.

Concord badminton grip.

Ta da~

07.00 pm -Badminton @ Grand View Apartments.
