09.30 am – Introduced Dad to Island Glades’s hidden curry mee.

He too, felt that the small serving was actually huge in portion.

10.00 am – Went for a haircut. Before.

After. Just neater.

12.00 pm – Took a nap.

02.00 pm – Mum prepared some stuff. Was craving for Mak Long like mad. Sigh.

A big pau and lo mai kai.

Sliced the papaya I bought yesterday while reheating Mum’s stuff.

So lunch for me today consisted of a cinnamon roll,

an eighth of a papaya,

a big pau and

a lo mai kai.

07.30 pm – Went over to John’s suggested place in Gurney Plaza to buy

a guitar tuner for RM59.

08.00 pm – Went over to Little India’s Sri Ananda Bahwan

for banana leaf. What I like most is that they give you the curry stuff without you having to ask them. Moreover, a set like this cost only RM4. And you can refill the vegetables as many times as you want. (I can guarantee you that your stomach won’t allow you to refill more than 3 times)

Had an extra plate of mutton.

The price list.

11.30 pm – Happy Halloween! Went over to SOHO

to meet up with these guys. Hung around for an hour before moving over to..

12.00 am – ..QE2. Boy did we have fun.

Stinky vamp : ROAR!
Poor Gabriel : Shit, girl. Ever heard of toothpaste?

A celebrity friend of mine. How I wish I could reveal her identity but, you know la celebrities.

Errr…. a tattoo doesn’t count as a costume, Linda.

Things you do when someone is drunk.

Made a new friend. Out of nowhere.

And also. Suddenly. Out of nowhere.

Came Martha the Ogre

who ogre-raped us all to hell.

03.00 am – Went over to Weld Quay’s Ghee Seng Tomyam Seafood with this fella,

this fella,

this fella and

this fella.

Tom yam fried curly mee.

04.30 am – zzzzZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzz

The Saturday We Went To Oktoberfest 2008

10.00 am – Went to lip sin market’s hidden coffee shop for breakfast. When I was first brought here by Daryl, a normal sized food item in this place cost no more than RM2. Yea. It’s that cheap. Now it’s 20 cents more. However, I still love love lip sin market’s hidden coffee shop.

Vinny and I had a bowl of hokkien mee,

(koay teow-less) koay teow th’ng and

a roti bawang.

11.00 am – Grocerying at Sunshine Bayan Baru.

Bought a carton of eggs,

honeydew and

9 mini cups of yoghurts.

(Dutch Lady’s)

(Nestle’s)

03.00 pm – Collected the tickets for Max Payne over at Queensbay before

heading over to Chopper Board for a late lunch.

Had meself a Szechuan Spaghetti,

sago gula melaka (my favourite Chopper Board dessert of all time) and

a bowl of chopper soup.

03.45 pm – Watched Max Payne. It was kinda monotonous.

FC : 5.5/10

06.00 pm – Did a little shopping.

This picture below reminds me of Cathrane, who used to always take pictures in the changing room. Now it’s more of food. Right, Cath?

Bought myself 3 collared tees.

08.30 pm – Had trouble finding parking. I was surprised to see so so so so many cars parked along the roadside, nearby and far, all the way to Oktoberfest.

The event organizers.

You cannot imagine the magnanimous size of the crowd that attended Oktoberfest.

It was packed! Like rice in a rice cooker. Packed!

We bought ourselves a tuna burger,

sausages and mashed potatoes,

a beef burger and

a BIG ass pretzel. Seriously, it was BIG man. BIG. I was so full afterwards.

(Did you know pretzels came from Germany?)

Bumped into the saucy Salsa BoyZ.

And, oh. Right after buying our meals, Vinny and I were wondering where we were gonna sit. Lucky for us we had 2 nice German fellas who offered us 2 comfy seats at their table right at the side-front of the stage.

Everybody, say “Hi” to Dan

and Marcus.

These 2 fellas taught us how to open a beer bottle with another beer bottle,

with a lighter,

and with our teeth. Yes, ladies and gentlemen. The teeth.

Plus us, there were 6 people at the table and we drank 60++ bottles of beer.

(A lil happy)

We drank LOADS of beer. Of course the German fellas drank more, but I myself drank over my own limit.

(happy happy)

By the end of the night, I gulped down a total of

(too happy)

12.30 am – Threw up before reaching Tiger Arms.

02.30 am – Threw up before going to bed.

03.00 am – What a Saturday! Die coolste Veranstaltung immer Oktoberfest!

The Saturday I Had 2 Pieces Of Cargas Bayan Lepas Killer Fried Chicken

10.00 am – Woke up. Breakfasted.

Tried Dutch Lady’s low fat mixed berries yoghurt for the first time.

~yum

12.30 pm – Had lunch.

03.00 pm – Went to the legendary Cargas to meet

these fellas.

Thanks Nat for the killer drumstick.

10 minutes later…

(How can 1 Cargas killer fried chicken be enough?)

One thing I like about Cargas is that they keep a consistent supply of serviettes throughout it’s operating hours from 8.30am to 4.30pm.

04.00 pm – Moved on over to Queensbay and collected the tickets for Eagle Eye.

05.15 pm – Watched Eagle Eye.

FC Rating : 7.5 / 10

08.15 pm – Went to Evergreen Vegetarian Restaurant in Pulau Tikus for dinner.

It was packed!

The very wide array of dishes to choose from.

I had 5 different dishes together with

a bowl of bee ko moey.

09.30 pm – And then all of us hopped on over to Belissa Row’s Haagen-Dazs.

Shawn and Gabe.

Lee Li and Phaik Chin.

Gabe, Daryl, Jason, Anthony.

After a tough time choosing what to order, I narrowed down the selection to this,

this or

this.

Flower Blossom looked tempting but the portioning looks huge. No doubt, Brownie Explosion was enticing but it also looked overly sweet at the same time.

The winner = Belgian Waffle Dream

Jason’s Brownie Explosion.

The girls’ cookie combo.

Anthony’s Mango Tango. Lemma, sounds so tak ngam.

11.00 pm – And then we went to Tiger Arms.

Had the usual Guinness / Kilkenny.

Played Tiger Arms’s fusball for the first time.

(The high quality boring video below plays only if you’re logged in)

2 hours later, these fellas came.

Anthony, nah your pic.

02.00 am – Wanted to supper at Nasi Tembok but skipped it since the line was like soooooooooooooooooooooo long. I’m sure there were twenty over people waiting in line and if each person took 1 minute to order we would have to wait AT LEAST 20 minutes.

And so we went to Jelutong market’s economy rice, which was close. Sat at the midnight nasi kandar stall across the road before Andy suggested

McDonald’s.

My first ever experience having fillet o fish and fries at this hour.
