07.23 am – As the 24 hours to my bike rental was still not up yet, Vivian and I took a ride around Jl Poppies 1 to check out the many, many restaurants that we came across during the night. However, only very few were open and Rumah Makan Bamboo Corner was one of those.

A pretty simple restaurant with the prices written on blackboards around the outer walls.

09.34 am – Returned the bike and took a walk around Jl Pantai Kuta for some last minute shopping.

Walked into the already opened Matahari Kuta Square for last minute souvenir shopping.

10.39 am – Filled in the Tune Hotel Kuta’s guest feedback form and checked out.

Got ourselves a transport to bring us to the airport.

10.49 am – And off we go into the streets of Kuta.

10.57 am – Ngurah Rai International Airport.

Went to AirAsia’s airport guest services counter,

took out our passports and

got our itinerary printed out.

The many, many Australians by the check in counters.

The check in counters to our AirAsia flight to Kuala Lumpur was still closed.

Went to toilet and saw aquariums above the urinal.

Cool.

Checked out the super expensive souvenir shops around the area.

And we waited.

11.53 am – Finally, we checked in our luggage and proceeded towards the departure hall.

Got our passports stamped.

Went to toilet again.

11.00 pm – Went over to the newly opened Shenanigans Irish Pub in Tanjung Bungah. After pressing the “ON” button on my Finepix F20 camera, it gave me this blinking text “Focus Error” out of nowhere. Couldn’t take any pictures and it couldn’t roll back in the lenses. Damn.

12.30 am – Went over to MOIS. The VIP area was packed as hell when we arrived. Where’s our ang pau, Shawn?

03.30 pm – And then the electricity went *spoof*. Couldn’t do a damn thing in the house. No internet. No TV. No music. No entertainment. Boring as hell.

07.30 pm – Hung out at Tiger Arms with buddies.

and a few pints of the usual.

11.00 pm – I laughed my ass out watching Chris Rock’s HBO Comedy Special, Kill The Messenger.

09.00 am – Woke up. Showered. Breakfasted.

12.00 pm – Lunched. Picked up Daryl and Gabriel before heading over to Queensbay’s KFC to meet up with Cath & Cann. Was shocked to see so many of C&C’s other friends sitting together. Was too shy to shoot any pics at the table.

06.30 pm – Met my cousin, Shane, at Super Gym. We worked on the shoulders. Although I feel inferior sometimes, I find it motivating to have muscular fellas around you.

08.00 pm – Went back to my uncle’s house.

Took a shower and

had dinner. We had delicious homemade hokkien char. Thanks, Soak Soak.

09.00 pm – Met up with the rest in Gurney, who were almost finishing their dinner in Pastamania.

09.30 pm – Watched Get Smart.
