09.00 am – Bought bread from the grocery store down the road.

Had bread,

milk with oats and

soft boiled eggs for breakfast.

09.30 am – The fella from the grocery store came to deliver a

new tank of gas. Costs RM22.50.

It came with 2 free 2009 calendars.

10.30 am – Went back to Fujifilm Penang’s service center to collect back my beloved

Finepix F20. Had to pay RM20 as a penalty for not proceeding with the repair.

But if I still cannot find a new Finepix F series for less than RM500, I will proceed with repairs.

I want back a Fujifilm because Finepix F series’s low light image quality is the best among all other point and shoots.

01.00 pm – Had lunch.

01.30 pm – Bleach 199.

06.30 pm – Had late tea break.

08.00 pm – Went over to Sungai Ara for my cousin’s 30th birthday. The party’s meal spread was spectacularly colourful.

We had an array of Coffee Bean’s colourful cupcakes,

apple grape salad,

fresh green salad,

potato salad,

luncheon meat,

buns, buns and

buns,

mushroom soup,

bolognese,

roast mutton and

lots of German sausages.

The Tuesday I Tried Solving My Fujifilm Finepix F20 Focus Error

09.00 am – Had soft boiled eggs,

a cup of milo,

a glass of apple cider vinegar + honey,

buttered toasts and

an egg tart

for breakfast.

10.00 pm – Went over to Penang’s Fujifilm Service Centre to hand in my Finepix F20.

The service form. You see, the thing I am afraid most is getting cheated. The fella servicing my camera can easily say anything he wants, if he wants. Maybe the problem is some dust particles stuck at the lens but he may say that the lens is spoiled and I need to spend hundreds in repair costs. That is what I am afraid of the most. Anyways, the expected damage to my pocket is expected to be at RM200.

10.30 pm – When I came home I surfed around and saw a post on a website offering a possible solution to my problem.

11.00 pm – And so I went back to Fujifilm’s service centre and took back my camera, wondering if the solution above works.

11.30 pm – Sadly, it didn’t. Hmmmmmm.. I thought maybe I could unscrew and clean the lens myself. Took out my precision screwdrivers and started unscrewing.

Sadly, I couldn’t unscrew these 3 tight buggers as I didn’t have the right sized screwdriver.

12.00 pm – Went over to Jelutong’s Upzen Hardware

and bought another set of precision screwdrivers, the right size this time.

12.30 pm – Unscrewed the remaining 3 and… ta da!

The naked Fujifilm Finepix F20.

01.00 pm – Had lunch.

06.30 pm – Had an early dinner.

08.00 pm – Badminton @ Grand View Apartments.

10.00 pm – Bought a packet of nasi kandar from Batu Maung’s

Dinas.
