08.30 am – Woke up to a cup of milo with nestum,

toasts,

and a plate of mi sedap.

~yum.

12.30 pm – Went down to town using Jelutong’s coastal highway which is actually full of adverts from Nippon Paint,

Maxis and

Public Mutual.

Yeah, and direction boards as well.

Penang’s tallest.

Actually, I wanted to check out 2 badminton shops located along Jalan Kek Chuan, somewhere behind Masjid Pakistan.

The first shop that I actually went into was Teong. It’s more like a mini shop, selling very basic badminton equipments nia.

After spending about 1 minute looking around I left and went into Finn Enterprise. Boy was I surprised.

I was amazed by the variety of badminton shoes,

RCL shuttlecocks,

badminton bags and

racquets on display.

After asking Mr. Finn about the difference between the shuttlecocks, I finally chose RCL Gold, priced at RM42 per tube.

Mr. Finn’s namecard.

01.00 pm – Decided to try out Kelawai Fish Head.

The pricelist.

Placed an order with the fella here and had it

sent over in about 15 minutes.

Noticed something missing when it came.

I didn’t know that you’d have to separately order the lady’s fingers.

Spent about RM18 total for 2 persons.

The fish in the logo looks evil. 👿

04.30 pm – Break time!

07.30 pm – Had an early dinner of buttered bakua toasts and

fruits.

09.00 pm – Badminton with buddies.

08.30 am – Had a packet of Mi Sedap,

yum,

toasts,

soft boiled eggs and

a cup of milo for

breakfast.

09.30 am – And then it over heated again. Tak cukup air mungkin?

Got stuck on the coastal highway,

just beside Intel Penang.

Lucky for me, I was a member of AAM.

10.30 am – 1 hour later,

Najmi came. After 5 minutes of diagnosing, he found out the problem.

The thermostat. Took it out,

and screwed the hose back, without the thermostat.

11.00 am – Then, Najmi of AAM Penang followed me from Intel right up to mechanic Ong’s workshop in Pulau Tikus. Thanks, man.

Mechanic Ong then took it from here.

He put in the new thermostat and things were back to normal.

01.30 pm – Went over to the legendary Peng Yang chicken rice.

The highly rated chicken rice chilli (by me, i donno about you).

The very sedap kiam chai boey.

The very sedap roasted pork, white chopped and roasted chicken.

07.30 pm – Went over to Batu Maung’s Dinas Nasi Kandar

for dinner.

Had cabbage to accompany the

delicious padprik daging and

delicious padprik ayam. Ayam was easier to chew than daging.
