10.30 am – Dropped by New Cathay for the 2nd time in a row.

This time for pancakes with

Vinny and her Korean daughter.

01.30 pm – Introduced Lam Fatt to my family.

The place that sells the

most delicious kiam chai boey in the world.

Besides that, you have chicken, duck and

pork.

’twas an awesome lunch!

02.00 pm – Dropped by Durian Cap Kaki stall

on the way back.

Fungi by the tree.

03.00 pm – PAM broke down along

Jalan Besi.

03.30 pm – Had AAM come and

tow it away.

Luckily Najmi hooked and secured PAM in time before it poured cats and dogs.

Dropped by a nearby 7-eleven for

some green tea before

arriving at mechanic Ong’s.

04.00 pm – PAM arrived later as Najmi took the long way.

Signed some documents and left.

05.00 pm – American Idol s08e35.

06.30 pm – You know, these few days, my computer has been restarting as the temperature rise was faster than usual. So, I shot ‘beginner’ a message and he advised…

lowyat

So off I went to e-Gate’s PC Depot to buy

a small tube of thermal paste for RM22.

07.00 pm – Opened up the covers and unhooked the processor’s cooling fan.

Thermal paste, checked.

Clean processor, checked.

Squeezed a bit and turned on the PC.

It’s now at 30 degrees celsius. AMAZING. Thermal paste does work! Thanks ‘beginner’.

The temperature was so low, hence I took the opportunity and

processor

overclocked my CPU. 😈

09.00 pm – Went to Chulia Street’s Ecco Cafe for the first time.

The 1 piece menu.

The colonial type of environment.

Had a spaghetti. Delicious!

10.30 pm – Went home and tried determining Dad’s laptop’s inability to startup problem. Turns out his hard disk sudah rosak.

12.00 am – Went to Flare of Batu Ferringhi for some

Hoegaarden draughts

with friends.

😈

01.30 am – Then we splitted. I guess splitting comes very often in big groups. One moved on to QEII while another moved on over to Sunset Bistro.

03.30 am – Met back up together at the AWESOME Zenzibar.

“All batiao. Where the chicks at?”

04.30 am – Nasi Beratur Masjid Kapitan Keling.

All I need.

10.30 am – Went over to New Cathay for breakfast.

It was packed and finding a place wasn’t easy, as usual.

Had koay chiap.

Bought 6 pieces of apong from my favourite childhood apong stall

opposite Belissa Row.

11.00 am – Went to Kalpana’s to get

Vinny’s eyebrows plucked.

Enjoyed my apong while the action was taking place.

11.30 am – Dropped PCJ at

Kim Soon to let Ah Soon fix the ‘coughing’ problem.

12.00 pm – Helped granny do some sawing.

Showered this fella.

03.30 pm – Took Aunt Mary and Uncle Joe to esplanade’s

Hamid Pata mee sotong goreng.

Aunt Mary and

Uncle Joe from USA,

Vinny from Korea. Sarangehyo~ I got nobody, nobody but you~

04.30 pm – Took Aunt Mary and Uncle Joe to siTigun.

2 days in a row. Awesome.

Tried out the madeleine cookies which tastes a lil bit like bahulu.

siTigun’s ice blended.

I liked the animation of the wave-like layer falling to the bottom.

06.30 pm – Collected PCJ from Ah Soon.

The source of the problem turned out to be the clogged petrol filter.

Since replacing it, PCJ’s journeys have been nothing but smoooooooth.

08.00 pm – Went over to Classic Coffee Shop opposite Padang Brown

for some bah kut teh.

It tastes ok la, not bad, but I still prefer Super Lai Lai’s. Kinda missed Super Lai Lai since they stopped operating.

Awesome cholesterol escalating stuff. ~fuh

Yew char koay.

09.00 pm – Dessert.

09.30 pm – Wait ’til You’re Older. The beginning and middle are just okay. The show peaks as it nears the end. A very very nice movie by Andy Lau. Very.
