The Monday I Cooked My First Ever Chicken Burger

07.25 am – Woke up to soft boiled eggs and

butter kaya toasts.

12.31 pm – Had lunch.

Bought buns and a

papaya on the way back from tapau-ing lunch.

02.31 pm – Started preparing the GHOBB chicken breast marinade.

First, I chopped the chicken breast

into left and right.

Took out the skin.

Tenderized the meat.

Chopped me some garlic.

Took out the basil,

honey,

olive oil and

balsamic vinegar.

Mixed them together.

Stirred.

Put in the chicken breast and massaged it as well.

04.36 pm – Sliced up a papaya for evening break.

06.30 pmPower Training @ ZeroFitness.

07.32 pm – Came back and started preparing the aluminium foil.

Took out the GHOBB chicken breast marinade from the fridge.

Preheat the oven for

15 minutes.

07.38 pm – Had my post workout drink.

07.47 pm – Took about a quarter cucumber and

sliced it up.

Used about only

2 slices of tomatoes.

About half an onion.

The vegetables.

The bun.

Sliced into half.

First layer, lettuce.

Second, tomatoes.

Next, cucumbers.

Fourth, onions.

Layering, done.

08.12 pm – Chucked in the marinade into the preheated oven and wait.

Threw away the leftover marinade. (Lesson learned. You can always cook the marinade separately and use it to flavour the bun)

08.24 pm – Chicken ready. Smelled so damn good.

Burger complete.

08.59 am – Toasts + oats.

Soft boiled eggs.

09.22 am – Showered this fella.

10.30 am – Went for a haircut.

12.23 pm – Lunch.

07.55 pm – Picked up Datin Tan from KL and took her on an eating spree. Eh Datin, you damn tamak, you know.

1st stop, Lebuh Presgrave’s awesome hokkien mee.

The added stuff.

08.45 pm – 2nd stop, De Tai Tong for char hor fun.

Tanglung season is near.

Had myself a mini egg tart while she had

a BIG ASS plate of char hor fun which she couldn’t finish.

10.30 pm – 3rd stop, Crepe Cottage.

(Damn you Datin, my tummy paucha-ed)

I like it plain.

Have tried everything on the dessert menu actually.

11.30 pm – 4th stop, Coffee Island 😯

(but Thank God for making her sleepy at 12am)

10.00 am – Grocerying at Tesco. Bought a bottle of shaving foam, lizard trap, Shurei hair wax,

a packet of coffee-mate, mamee kari berapi, ebiko sushi,

sesame oil, a tub of honey,

black & white socks, disposable shavers,

a blade sharpener and toothbrushes.

11.00 am – Went for a haircut.

11.30 am – Picked up a pair of Topwin

cylindrical locks from

Seng Lee Paints & Hardware.

12.30 pm – Lunch.

Economy rice.

01.30 pm – My bathroom door’s old squeeky lock.

It took me 10 minutes just to remove

the deadbolt latch and

another 10 minutes to remove the knob altogether.

At least I got the job done

removing the old lock completely.

Once you have experience,

fixing in the new door lock is easy.
