The Sunday I Took A Break From Guitar Class


10.30 am – Had a bowl of koay teow th’ng for breakfast.

12.00 pm – Guess what I saw when I sat down to drop rockets?

I saw success. 👿 The cockroach baits worked!

12.30 pm – Went over to Arked Tanjung Bungah’s Lat Cafe

with these 2 fellas.

My lunch.

The floating mosque opposite the food arcade.

Went for class for the last time. Taking a break from guitar classes for the moment.

05.00 pm – Andy came. Helped him print his thesis report.

Watched a movie about caterpillars.

07.00 pm – Went over to Sri Ananda Bahwan for dinner.

My favourite banana leaf restaurant.

The 3 bowls of curry and dahl.

08.00 pm – Went over to Sugar Dynasty.

Decided to try 3 different things today. Ordered a double boiled milk with white fungus,

white fungus with red dates and

a herbal jelly.

10.30 pm – Watched The Notebook for the second time. One of my top 10 all time romance movies.

The Saturday I Attended FAG Penang’s Second Chance Christmas Play


10.30 am – Had breakfast.

11.30 pm – Accompanied this fella for brunch before going for replacement guitar lesson.

12.00 pm – Guitar class.

02.00 pm – Our new teacher, Caddy the butcher. He kills. Easily. Weapon of mass destruction? Guitar.

03.00 pm – Went over to Padang Brown food court.

Had dip dip and

char koay teow.

04.30 pm – Went over to Oldtown E-Gate for a chit chat session.

05.30 pm – Went to fill the fat guy on the left’s stomach.

07.30 pm – Went over to Esplanade’s food court for dinner.

Had Ong Molly’s

char bee tai bak.

08.00 pm – Went over to Dewan Sri Pinang for FAG’s 2008 Christmas special entitled Second Chance. Went to support my brother who was part of it.

We were entertained by caroling,

a play,

the carols again and

an ex-SIA stewardess who told everyone the story about how her life went down the drain. How she got hooked to money, fame, pride, greed, gambling and how her life changed for the better after she lost everything. Which reinforces my theory that people ONLY change when the impact is BIG.

11.30 pm – Went over to Line Clear for supper.

12.00 am – Filled in some gas before going home.

The Sunday Where I Attended My First Guitar Class


12.00 pm – Woke up and checked out hot chicks on facebook ^.^

01.30 pm – Washed up. Changed. Dusted me guitar.

02.00 pm – Loaded the boot of the car ^.^

02.15 pm – Lunch-ed in Island Glades’s soy bean stall.

Me favourite pork leg rice.

02.45 pm – Attended the first ever guitar lesson of our lives.

We learned how to posture ourselves correctly,

practiced plucking

to Amazing Grace.

03.45 pm – Settled the fees, signed our attendance. Found out our new membership number.

04.30 pm – Bought Sports Toto and Da Ma Cai. There was no Magnum in Island Glades, so too bad la.

05.00 pm – Met up with the rest in Sakae Sushi.

06.00 pm – Unloading time!

06.30 pm – Watched Juggernaut in action.

07.00 pm – Laughed our asses off, reminiscing about past clubbing experiences. The funniest of all involved a fat swimmer and his uncle, with Shawn acting out as the uncle.

08.30 pm – Dinnered at Super Tanker.

10.30 pm – Chit chatted with buddies.

12.30 am – Had cookies and milk.
