08.29 am – Went to 9B Jalan Delima for

this stall’s

super awesomely delicious curry mee.

08.52 am – Showered this fella.

02.15 pm – Started making lunch.

Softening up the spaghetti in water.

Sweet Hungarian paprika. (And I thought paprika was from India?)

Peeled cabbages into bite size.

Cucumber to be cut.

Butter and olive oil.

Liquid heavy cream.

Paprika, cayenne pepper, black pepper an salt.

The soft and bendable spaghetti.

While the cabbage and spaghetti was being boiled,

the onions and scallions were chopped up.

Started sauteing the scallions and onions.

After about 3 minutes the spices were thrown in.

How it looked like 1 minute later.

Poured in the heavy cream.

After about 1 minute of stirring.

Ta da! Lunch.

06.44 pm – Received my Christmas gift from Vivian.

08.59 pm – Passions of Kerala for dinner.

Awesome banana leaf rice. One of 2 places in Penang I’d recommend for banana leaf.

03.41 am – Wanted to eat supper at Nasi Beratur and Raffe but turns out they were out of food.

Went over to trusty McDonald’s instead.

Bought home a box of Fillet o Fish.

The Monday I Made Spicy Mushrooms Spaghetti

08.37 am – Had soft boiled eggs and

butter kaya toasts for breakfast.

12.37 pm – Lunch.

05.48 pm – Afternoon break.

06.20 pm – Started working on my spicy spaghetti mushrooms.

The ingredients.

Boiled the spaghetti.

Fried the spicy mushrooms.

Dropped in the scallions and cheese.

Stirred it together with the spaghetti.

Ta da!

The Friday I Made Spicy Sesame Spaghetti

Soft boiled eggs.

08.19 am – Showered Py the dog.

10.01 am – Received 2 letters today.

One was BP’s promotion back in June 2009.

One was tunemoney’s card termination letter. (I terminated Tune card once I got Public Bank’s PBDay2Day card)

The cheque.

Cut up Tune Money’s.

12.03 pm – Started preparing for lunch.

Spicy sesame pasta recipe.

1/3 serving of spaghetti.

Boil it.

Chopped up the red chili, green bird’s eye chili and scallions.

Prepped the oil.

Combined the 2.

Continued with the almost Mexican tofu.

Sambal belacan with half a tablespoon of olive oil.

Took out the remaining half tofu from the fridge.

Sliced out a thin lemon.

Decided to change the name from “almost Mexican” to “sambal” tofu.

Cooked the sambal belacan for a few minutes before adding in

the tofu.

Next was the simple salad dressing.

Lemon in oil.

The raw salad.

Sauteed the scallions and chili before

mixing it with the spaghetti to

toss.

12.56 pm – Lunch.

01.00 pm – Got my caffeine fix.

02.15 pm – Went on a trailer spree.

Alice in Wonderland Trailer 2.

Robin Hood.

05.18 pm – Started preparing for tomorrow’s lunch.

Took out the steak and chicken breast.

Let it sit in the water.

Made the marinade.

Chopped both the steak and chicken

into half.

Put the marinade and meat together in a resealable bag.

07.30 pm – Went to Evergreen for dinner.

Dessert.

08.00 pm – Collected the tickets at GSC.

09.30 pm – Watched Avatar @ GSC. Awesome movie!

05.10 pm – Started making the spicy tuna mix.

Chopped garlic.

Onion.

Chopped onions.

Scallions.

Chopped scallions.

A tea spoonful of sambal belacan.

A pinch of salt.

The spicy tuna ingredients.

Ayam brand tuna chunks in olive oil.

Took about half.

Let it marinade in the fridge.

07.45 pm – Drank milk.

Took out the bun.

Sliced it in half.

Lettuce.

Tomatoes and cucumber.

Spicy tuna, marinated.

The Monday I Cooked My First Ever Chicken Burger

07.25 am – Woke up to soft boiled eggs and

butter kaya toasts.

12.31 pm – Had lunch.

Bought buns and a

papaya on the way back from tapau-ing lunch.

02.31 pm – Started preparing the GHOBB chicken breast marinade.

First, I chopped the chicken breast

into left and right.

Took out the skin.

Tenderized the meat.

Chopped me some garlic.

Took out the basil,

honey,

olive oil and

balsamic vinegar.

Mixed them together.

Stirred.

Put in the chicken breast and massaged it as well.

04.36 pm – Sliced up a papaya for evening break.

06.30 pmPower Training @ ZeroFitness.

07.32 pm – Came back and started preparing the aluminium foil.

Took out the GHOBB chicken breast marinade from the fridge.

Preheat the oven for

15 minutes.

07.38 pm – Had my post workout drink.

07.47 pm – Took about a quarter cucumber and

sliced it up.

Used about only

2 slices of tomatoes.

About half an onion.

The vegetables.

The bun.

Sliced into half.

First layer, lettuce.

Second, tomatoes.

Next, cucumbers.

Fourth, onions.

Layering, done.

08.12 pm – Chucked in the marinade into the preheated oven and wait.

Threw away the leftover marinade. (Lesson learned. You can always cook the marinade separately and use it to flavour the bun)

08.24 pm – Chicken ready. Smelled so damn good.

Burger complete.
