10.00 am – Went to Chowrasta market’s

Soon Yuen cafe.

I wanted the koay teow th’ng but too bad it was closed. Had wan than mee instead.

Managed to buy myself 6 pieces of my favourite weekend-only ketayap.

Each one is wrapped individually, so as to prevent the ketayaps from sticking and koyaking each other.

Made out of nuts, sugar and coconut shreds.

The stall used to be operated by this old lady and her late husband. Since his passing, the daughter starting helping out her mum.

Spent : RM5 + RM1.40 + RM3.60

11.00 am – Went to Wawasan Open University to check out

Freedom Film Fest 2008.

Upon exiting the lift at the 5th floor, we were greeted by the open sea. Such a cool view. In Multimedia University, all you see is forest and construction vehicles and dust all around.

The 5th floor is also the library,

which was where the event was being held.

Freedom.

After checking in,

we took our seats in the hall.

Watched 5 shows about how Indon maids, prostitutes and foreign workers were being oppressed in Asia. Learned about Irene Fernandez of Tenaganita, which promotes the rights of migrant workers and other oppressed and poor people in Malaysia, and how she was bullied by the bastards in the Malaysian government.

Also saw Lucy Liu presenting a documentary about human trafficking in Asia.

Part 2.
Part 3.

01.00 pm – After the shows all ended, we checked out the cafeteria located by the seaside. How nice!

01.30 pm – Went to Malay street for some koay chiap. Too bad there was only rice and porridge left.

The stall manned by the 2 brothers.

Had porridge over

a spread of duck meat, eggs and taupok.

Spent : RM10

02.30 pm – Hung out with my new buddy, Horny the vampire.

08.00 pm – Went to Mandarin Cafe for dinner with Anthony.

Had Farveen’s nasi dalkandar.

Spent : RM5.70

10.30 pm – Spent the rest of the night in MOIS, Penang

which is usually kinda empty whenever we arrive.

On this night, Anthony was angry.

Was in the VIP area a lot.

Vinny with her newly straightened hair.

The happy birthday boy and the girl with her newly refashioned hair.

Seriously, Pei Ying. Senget + kabur 😡

Spent : RM?? (unknown yet)

09.30 am – Showered. Breakfasted.

10.30 am – Drafted Dos and Donts of Clubbing.

12.30 pm – Lunched.

Bought back a bunch of these.

The usual.

01.30 pm – Updated famouschris.

04.30 pm – Badminton with these fellas at Ramakrishna.

06.00 pm – We were supposed to eat the Tambun-replacement-seafood-restaurant called Sin Hai Beng but it was closed.

There was this Restoran Pen Mutiara which sells curry seafood, but judging by the niceness of the building, I was pretty sure we’d get sliced like mad.

And so we went to this corner coffeeshop in Taman Iping to eat cook-fry instead.

Ate with some new and

old fellas. Note John’s new haircut.

08.30 pm – Balikz. Showered.

09.30 pm – Raffee-ed with me hungry mate.

10.30 pm – Lepak-ed in me room.

11.30 pm – Found out that malaysia-today is now blocked. I had to use an internet proxy to enter the site. Found out that MCMC was behind the move.

12.00 am – Ganja-ed with me pal.

Beraturing at Nasi Beratur.

This fella was in a political mood throughout the night. Kept talking bout Anwar, Anwar..

And then a fatass accidentally spilled a bull load of curry, right in front of me! MCB!! Drops of curry hit the left side of my hair, face, tangan, kaki, selipar. And I just showered like half an hour ago. Sigh.

02.00 am – Surfed around.
