John being kind.
When we knew we couldn’t go any further than this, we stopped to take as much photos from this tower.
The customary star jumps at China’s landmarks.
12.55 pm – And we began our journey down by lining up for the Weigand Toboggan Run (Sports Slide).
First to go!
Last to arrive.
Just to give you a mental picture of how DAMNNNNNNN FUN it WAS!!!!!
03.20 pm – After a tiring hike around the Great Wall of China and a thrilling toboggan sled ride in Mutianyu, we arrived at the Beijing 798 Art Zone, a part of Dashanzi in the Chaoyang District of Beijing that houses a thriving artistic community, among 50-year old decommissioned military factory buildings of unique architectural style. It is often compared with New York’s Greenwich Village or SoHo.
03.44 pm – We had lunch at an authentic, cheap Chinese eatery hidden somewhere between one of the lanes.
Of course, the standard Yanjing beer.
The dishes we ordered that seemed simple but really delicious!
