The spinner.

The device that lets you feel how it’d be like on the moon.

02.28 pm – Waiting for the rest to finish playing.

Playing with music.

Cartoon faces that are supposed to mimic your facial expressions.

Statues that line the walkways.

Taking a 1 minute nap while waiting for them to finish their toilet business.

Moving on to other floors.

03.35 pm – Started walking towards the subway station.

Caught a spectacular river fountain spot by the Bird’s Nest Stadium.

Decorations right outside the subway station.

Xin’ao Shopping Center!

04.49 pm – About an hour later, we arrived at Beijing’s Silk Street and Pearl Market. Really crowded and narrow lanes filled with merchants selling mostly imitation products. Totally not worth it. Find out why tomorrow.

07.05 pm – Arrived in Ghost Street aka Gui Jie, a cool, lantern filled food street where restaurants open until the break of dawn.

Decided on Little Sheep for dinner.

Awesome, awesome steamboat! Really delicious stuff!

Geoffrey drinking one of Kirsty’s bottled herbal remedy to cool his body down.

10.32 pm – Took a relaxing, late night walk at Nanluoguxiang again.

Enjoying a bottle of beer along the way.
