11.02 am – Took out the envelope and calculated the stash of money to
make sure it is EXACTLY RM 8,500.
11.32 am – Went to fill up PCJ
with about RM60 worth of Octane 95 petrol.
11.40 am – Arrived at the most recommended second hand dealer (good condition cars + reasonable pricing).
Gave away RM 8,500 in cash for
this 1998 Proton Iswara called PED.
Straight away took it to Kim Soon, my most recommended mechanic to arrange a time for changing the engine oil, gear oil and all the other small small stuff.
12.50 pm – Lunched at Perak Road’s economy fast food stall.
And then the power windows refused to wind down. Worry not, we’re bringing it back to Syuen on Monday who has guaranteed us free service if we find any problems with the car.
02.16 pm – Went to Queensbay to buy granny a new refrigerator.
Purposely chose this day as it was Jusco’s member day (every 1st Saturday of the month) and
you get a RM5 voucher for every RM100 you spend.
Got RM40 worth of vouchers.
The said refrigerator should arrive in 3 weeks.
Wanted to try out Station One but it was full and we were not encouraged to wait, so we just left.
07.48 pm – Dinner at Raffe.

08.51 pm – Went jersey shopping in Batu Ferringhi.
Stumbled across this shoplot that sells all sorts of imitation jerseys.
Bought ourselves a Germany and South Africa jersey for RM25 each.
10.26 pm – Went to 69 Mansion.
It was still pretty empty.
We sat there like orang bodoh as the waitress didn’t even bother to serve us or take our order for half an hour.
11.00 pm – In the end, we left 69 Mansion and decided to give our money to Sunset Bistro instead.
The prices are so much cheaper. Tiger bucket at Sunset Bistro is RM48 while Tiger bucket at 69 Mansion is RM79.
Poor Vinny hurt her toes. =(
02.49 am – Ended up at Ghee Seng Tom Yam for supper.
