10.00 am – Went to Astaka Taman Tun Sardon for breakfast.
10.30 am – There were so many people.
From end to end.
The first thing I bought
was from the makciks selling
cute, round
serabais that went well with it’s
dip.
Next stop was at Mami Tanjung’s.
Bought a mix bihun koay teow and
a packet of
nasi lemak.
11.00 am – American Idol s08e29 and

s08e30.

02.00 pm – Cargas for lunch.
wooOOOOOoo!!!!
02.30 pm – Dropped by CIMB bank and drew out a HUGE chunk of cash. You know, I got this phobia of getting robbed each time I carry around a lot of money.
Bought chewing gum. I expect to be at super close range with others as there’s usually a HUMONGOUS crowd during fairs this BIG. Gotta have fresh breath.
03.00 pm – Parking was impossible. There were so many cars lined up all the way till Sunshine Square. Imagine that.
PIKOM Penang PC Fair April 2009.
The madness.
Was deciding on 1TB or 500GB. Settled for in between. 640GB cost RM206. More than enough space for all my ‘homemades’
Bought 2 CD-RW. 1 is for the latest songs to be played in the gym. 1 is for the latest Windows XP installer.
05.00 pm – Only after leaving did I realize I missed something. Went over to e-Gate’s PC Depot for
a SATA cable.
06.00 pm – Fringe s01e15.

07.30 pm – Went to Bayswater for dinner at my aunt’s.
The security card.
Her minimalistic apartment.
Her so called ‘onion crepe’. (more like roti bawang)
Her tom yam noodles.
Her mangoes.
10.30 pm – Went back to Vinny’s.
Replaced her
old speakers with a pair of
EVO 7.
The treble and bass sounded superb man! Jealous!
01.00 am – zzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz

Why bother burning disc installers anymore? Just dump the ISO into a bootable USB thumb drive and you’re all set. Most machines from 4 years ago can boot from USB. And you also have the advantage of dumping in all the drivers into a folder on the thumbdrive. Never bother with swapping disc ever again. I don’t even have a DVD drive attached to my new server anymore.

I know. Sadly, my NF7-s mobo just doesn’t boot from USB.
