After 2 weeks of waiting, the package finally arrived.
Through priority handling and registered delivery.
Thanks, Royal Mail!
The customs declaration sticker. I’ve learned from my many, many online purchases that items are normally underpriced to avoid tax.
Tore out the plastic bag and these were the 3 things.
The pouch which I doubt I’ll ever use.
The free 1GB Micro SD card.
The price I paid for the camera in GBP.
Okay. It’s time for the main event.
Unboxing of the main box.
Ta da!
The camera wrapped up in bubble wrap for extra cushioning, the USB cable and the charger. The battery was underneath.
Oozing with coolness.
The top.
The back.

1st thing I did was charge the battery so that
I can upgrade the camera to the latest firmware version.
Anyone with a digital camera should check out the manufacturer’s website for firmware upgrades so that it fixes the bugs that came with the initial product.
After about 30 seconds,
Ta da!
Check, check. Yes! Upgraded!
It only hit me now that I forgot to buy the spare battery and screen protector at the same time when buying the camera. Now I’d have to wait another 2 weeks. Dang!
