06.26 am – Lol. Breakfast from 7-Eleven again.
Just can’t get enough of the black soybean milk.
07.01 am – How a typical China wall power outlet looks like.
08.03 am – Everyone, say hi to Kong Lin!
09.03 am – Today, we started our 1 hour journey to Mutianyu, the best and highly recommended section of the Great Wall of China that is less crowded than Badaling, nearer than Simatai, has the national first rate cable car, and the coolest attraction at Mutianyu which is the toboggan sled ride!!!!
09.37 am – We were so excited to see the Great Wall of China from the road.
09.44 am – Arrived at the foot of Great Wall of China. Souvenirs all over the place.
We had a choice of 2 cable cars to choose from.
Since we were lazy by nature, we just picked the one nearest to the entrance.
The cable car seat!
ooOoooo… scary shit!
Vivian and I were the first ones up.
Followed by Kirsty and John.
Last but not least, Geoffrey and Priscilla.
We were so afraid that we might accidentally lose our shoes from the cable car. Phobiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
The views were pretty breathtaking to say the least.
10.02 am – The ride took about 5-6 minutes.
As we got out, we could see our goal clearly. To take a picture by the huge words at the other end of the wall. As we came to Beijing in the middle of September, everyday was a clear day. Today was no different and we thoroughly enjoyed our hike on the Great Wall.
The nicest group pictures of the bunch.
We could see the sky, mountains and valleys clearly.
The map of the great wall.
10.11 am – And then, we began our hike from Tower 4 to Tower 1 before heading for Tower 23.
